    1. publishers offers now included with gold and silver prices 🙂
Also fixed one of the prices. one of the destiny games was cheaper in colombia rather than korea. my bad for rushing! Sorry guys! Any other issues let me know 🙂

  1. Don’t know if this is something you may wish to do or not, (And there’s a ToDo list somewhere that says I’ll create a spreadsheet for it at some point……), but it may be useful to have a cheatsheet table that contains the sales taxes against the most popular purchase regions.

For example, I got hammered buying Zombi from Brasil. £3.64 soared to the heady heights of £4.40.

    Gutted. 😉

The only thing is that it’s difficult to know before purchasing if there is a sales tax, will it get applied to digital purchases from the store, and what the percentage is. Don’t think there’s anywhere on the web with such information (Not that I’ve looked tbh)

It’s even more complicated for North American store purchases (Not that there’s many as both countries are not normally on top of any list for cheapest regions ), as sales tax changes between both US states and Canadian provinces, and in certain ones, not present at all.

    1. I include the sales tax with can dial purchases. As far as I’m aware there’s no sales tax in Brazil though. Did you definitely purchase from the right region? (I’d had mine revert to Russia mid purchase before!)
I know America has some sales taxes but there’s a few that are free (maybe that’s useful to jot down!)

  2. Yup. Just checked the invoice, and it’s been purchased in Brazil. Definitely a sales tax as the price difference between the two comes to around 19%, and that’s apparently what the sales tax in Brazil is.

Surprised me too, as I had purchased a game from Brazil the other week there (Tiny Troopers) and it didn’t hit me for any sales tax then. I even got a very official looking invoice after the purchase (And I thought here we go, it’s a tax invoice) with the stated R$19.00 price tag, same as the price on the Brazillian store.

Just checked the site, and the non-gold members sale price converts to £7.37, so it has applied the sale discount.

    All very strange.

Not *that* bothered, as the price is still way cheaper than the UK store, and it wasn’t exactly a dear game to buy. Even if it was a AAA title with the matching price, it may have put around an extra £6 on the cost, which would probably have brought the cost past the second cheapest region, which may irk, but it would still be a whole lot cheaper than UK pricing. 🙂

    1. Hmm maybe something I need to look into a little more. I’ve never been taxed on my purchases from Brazil before (but at the same time I also used to be able to purchase via a credit card directly without a social security number which I can no longer do!)

      1. Bizarre. I’m assuming you mean purchasing via an actual physical card without a VPN? Nobody’s mentioned anything about a social security number when I’ve used the Revolut card! 🙂

Avoiding the flamefest that was a forum post, I managed to retrieve this little nugget about the US:

“There are 5 states that don’t have any sales tax; Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon.”

For Canada, there’s only one tax free state, Alberta. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_Canada)

India has a 12 or 13% sales tax.

Not sure about the rest of the regions.

Certainly Argentina, Columbia, Russia, South Africa, and Hong Kong are all tax free, as I’ve bought from those regions before.
